Constructed of leather lined with cotton cloth and wool. The fronts are beaded in a pre-Victorian curvilinear design. -
Ojibwa/Cree Moccasins (Great Lakes/Northeast)

Made of native tanned hide with a hard sole of commercial leather sewn together with cotton thread and sinew. A symmetrical floral beaded design decorates both moccasins upper and wraps around to the heel. -
Ottawa/Huron Moccasins (Great Lakes/Northeast)

Each moccasin is made from a single piece of commercial leather and is sewn with cotton thread. Decorated with black velvet and blue silk, they are trimmed with a Victorian beaded design. -

Made by Mrs. American Horse, these moccasins are made with tanned leather, have hard soles and are decorated with red-, yellow- and purple-dyed porcupine quills.
