Once in a Blue Moon Walk

The full moon on this evening will be the second one for January 2018, making it a Blue Moon. Join IAIS staff as we take a walk along our museum’s trails and discuss nighttime phenomena that people in the Eastern Woodlands have been experiencing for thousands of years. End at our replicated Algonkian village for some hot cocoa around the camp fire.
Please note: the moon will not necessarily look blue.
