In-Person Event

The Litchfield Hills Archaeology Club welcomes Dr. John Pfeiffer, who has worked as an archaeologist and anthropologist in the Northeast for over 60 years. His study of the Nehantic has been a 35-year commitment and has bridged the gap between prehistory, history, genealogy, and contemporary ethnology. Join Dr. Pfeiffer for a presentation tracing this group’s cultural continuity from prehistory through contemporary times in what has come to be known as Southeastern New England. The Nehantic are proud of who they are and what they and their ancestors achieved.

Space is limited; pre-registration is requested.
