Kindling New Knowledge: Fire Starting Workshop

How prepared would you be to survive New England winters without twenty-first century technology?  For traditional Indigenous communities of this area, fire would have been an important tool throughout the year, but crucial for winter months.  Join our outdoor skills specialist Griffin Kalin for an interactive workshop designed to teach the fundamentals and techniques for creating fire using traditional methods. 

Please note, this is an outdoor workshop, so participants should come prepared for the weather. This workshop is intended for participants ages 8 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
