Strawberry Moon Festival

When wild strawberries ripen, they represent life and good health. They also herald the ripening of fresh fruits and the arrival of summer. Visitors of all ages will enjoy live music played by Allan Madahbee, Ojibwe and traditional Native American stories while learning about the importance of giving thanks for the bounty of the Earth. Sample traditional Native American and contemporary strawberry recipes made from locally grown strawberries, included in the price of admission.

Children’s activities: 1:00 – 4:00pm. Live music: 1:00 – 3:00pm.

Price: IAIS Members Free; $10 Adults, $8 Seniors, $6 Children
