February 1, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Would you have what it takes to thrive in the New England winters without twenty-first century technology? Perhaps you’ve wondered how Native Americans were able to start a fire in the snow, find food, or make shelter. Join IAIS Educator Griffin Kalin for a fun and informative program appropriate for all ages! This year, there will be a special focus on making clothing for winter survival, including a demonstration on how to tan a hide in order to make leather.
