This traveling exhibit is organized by the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum and is co-curated by Vera Longtoe Sheehan and Dr. Fredrick M. Wiseman. This exhibit will feature recently made garments, regalia, and accessories by contemporary Abenaki artists. The objects and images featured in this exhibit document the way in which Abenaki heritage has been and continues to be made. And how these are made and used to express Native identity.
Opening reception is from 6-7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
