Annual Maple Sugaring Festival

March 14 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Looking for a sweet end to the winter months? As the days get warmer, but the nights remain cold, it's just the right condition for maple sugaring! Join IAIS staff, along with

Jeff and Judy Kalin, of Primitive Technology, Inc., for an event celebrating the gift of Maple Sugar. The Kalins will demonstrate the traditional technique of collecting sap and boiling it down into syrup. Enjoy pancakes made by the IAIS staff, local maple syrup, coffee and orange juice while learning about the importance of maple syrup to local Native American cultures.

Pancake Brunch: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Children's Activities: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

Maple Syrup Demonstration: 12:00 - 3:00 pm
