Bring Her Home movie poster
Sunday, May 7
1:00pm – 3:30pm
In-Person Event

From Vision Maker Media and Twin Cities PBS, the 2022 documentary Bring Her Home follows three Indigenous women, an artist, an activist, and a politician – as they fight to vindicate and honor their missing and murdered relatives who have fallen victims to a growing pandemic across Indian country. Despite the lasting effects from historical trauma, each woman must search for healing while navigating racist systems that brought about this very crisis. Join IAIS Staff for a screening and discussion of this award-winning and powerful documentary, as well as ongoing efforts to raise awareness, bring about change, and seek healing in Indigenous communities throughout North America.

Please Note: Due to the nature of this topic, the screening of this film and discussion of its content may trigger strong emotions in some attendees.

Space is limited, pre-registration is requested. Please visit our website to register for FREE via Eventbrite. A list of reputable organizations dedicated to this work that we encourage you to support will be available throughout the weekend and can be found on our website.
