THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT – Please check back for upcoming outdoor experiences taking place in October
Join Susan Scherf, IAIS Museum Educator and Ecologist, for a walk along our museum’s trails and a discussion of nighttime phenomena that people in the Eastern Woodlands have been experiencing for thousands of years. Susan’s topics for the walk will include the change of seasons, as well as owl adaptations; it’s sure to be a hoot! After a moderate hike, end at our replicated Algonkian village for some hot cider around a camp fire. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight.
Price: IAIS Members Free, Non-Members $10. Space is limited, please call (860) 868-0518 or email [email protected] to register.
Please note: this event is weather permitting. If in doubt, please call (860) 868-0518 or visit the IAIS Facebook page on the day of the event. Masks are required inside the museum, and outdoors when you are within 6 feet of other visitors or staff.
