As a follow up to the sold out finger weaving basket workshop in June, we are once again pleased to host artist and educator Eva Newell (Member of Pokanoket Tribe, Pokanoket Nation; Cape Sable Island Wampanoag, Nauset and Cree descent). In this workshop, participants will construct a mini coil basket using natural fibers, such as jute and rafia. Embellish the basket with beads or other ornamentation for a unique creation.
Please note: Due to the patience and dexterity required for this project, this workshop is best suited for participants ages 12 and up.
Space is limited and pre-registration is requested. Please visit our website to register. Questions? Please email [email protected]. Cost of participation, including materials: $35 for Non-Members, $30 for Members.
