Saturday Summer Science Sessions: Planting The Seeds

August 17, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

If plants could speak, what would they tell us? As a matter of fact, they can tell us a lot if we just know how to listen. For the final Summer Science Session of 2019, join Education Coordinator and Traditional Native American Storyteller Darlene Kascak, of the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation. Using hands on materials and activities, she will discuss traditional Native beliefs about the inter-relationship between plants, animals, and humans as well as how modern science often supports these beliefs.
