Sunday Fun Day Craft Workshops: Snow Snakes

 This traditional Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) winter game involves a stick that is carved and decorated to resemble a snake. Competitors throw the stick along a snow trench and try to see how far they can throw it.

Join IAIS Educator Susan Scherf for an hour of whittling good fun.

Pre-registration is required. Please email [email protected] or call (860) 868-0518 to reserve a space. Cost of participation, including materials: Museum admission plus $10 per person (Museum admission is $10 for Adults, $8 for Seniors, $6 for children and Free for Members).
